waiting for my flight

Sitting in the airport and thinking about what I did today. It was really busy day!
Woke up at 01.30 am. At 05.30 am had a flight to Prague (whee I am now). Frankly speaking, I was really freaked out when I exited the airport, 'cause everybody from my flight went another way... Somehow I manage to find where I could leave a bagage (120 crones per a day).  Also, I would strongly recommend everyone before coming to Czech Republic chanhe euro to crones. It's muxh more practical! I had to change money in the airport, that's why I lost so, e amount of money :(
Somehow I found the right bus and... I forgot all czech phrases which I've been learning for months. Frankly speaking, not everyone here speaks English, so get reafy to "explain yourself in other ways".  I still can't understand how I managed!
I was pretty shocked when a woman in bus said "izvinite"(it's sorry in Rusian), but later I remembered that those languages are familiar. When I was in the bus I felt like a girl from "the 5 element". I didn't take pics of everything,  I was just left spechless. I was dreaming about it for soooo long!
When I went from the  metro, I didn't know which way to go... I was still spechless. And the first place where I stoped was mcdo... due to free wifi. :))

Teaser Exposition "Les Parisiens"

before the vacation

A week of vacation during thesummer... Sounds to perfect, innit?
When it starts with nominating as the best employee of the month... Sounds to good! ( I suppose that's why i didn't win lol). But still I have "something" for participating (it's better to give it to my family)

My friend and I decided to celebrate my vacation by going to the cinema in GUM to watch "Monster University". I wanted to see it so much (especially after my failure this year)
But this film was only in V.I.P.-theater where the price for a ticket was more than 30 euro. Pricy, but... we decided tot try it.
The service was just... wow! We had our personal sofa and before the film we could order some food to be delivered there. The theater was like this...
We really enjoed this place and that cartoon. P.s.One character even reminded me the teacher from my university (no swearing-no swearing :))
After the cartoon we walked in the GUM. It's a historical place where sometimes exhibitions are held. Also they have the tastiest ice cream. My mom told me so.
They even have "a historical restroom". To enter it you should pay some amount of money. It's also possible to have a shower there ( I didn't try so don't ask me how :))/
I enjoyed the sofa near the restroom.
In the end of the day we wandered the streets and this view we saw...

Damn, summer in Moscow is such a good time! Especially before the vacation! ;)

Chips' terrasse

How can you spend summer without going to some restaurants with a nice terrasse? (Especially when you spend the most time in the center)
The first one in the list that "i-should-visit" was a cozy restaurant (at least it looked like that) near my work. The terrasse on te top of 3-floor building overlooking TSUM and Bolshoi Theatre.
We had some difficultes with getting to the top (due to some problem with reservation), but we were happy to get a table for 4.

Talking about the menu... Well, nothing special. Pricy... But still there were some things worth trying! We were shocked by the price of cheese plate. Even though I must admit the way it was served is amazing!
The next thing that I really enjoyed was their cocktail - Red Square. Soo good! I would love to get back just to try it again! ;)

But now let me talk about cons. I orederd a salad and it was ... the waste of money. Tuna salad. And there were just 3 small cubes of tuna. Hm.. nice!

Frankly speaking, it was the only thing that i didn't like. My friend and I were sitting on the back. Because of this we didn't pay much attention to people around us (We don't disturb you, you don't disturb us :)). The service was fast and attentive. Surroundings were amazing.

We even had time to enjoy their restroom lol
In conclusion, I would recommend this place for romantic nights out, maybe for girls night out.. But not a place for families with little children. The main reason to go here is the view for terrasse and the deco!

Starbucks

The first post will be about... Starbucks.I don't know why but after my trip to London a few years ago i fell in love with hot chocolate from Starbucks.
This cafe was opened in Moscow a bit more than 5 years ago.
There is one near my work.

After night shift what can be btter than frappucino with caramel? No matter how much you want to sleep...

... or some cold drink before the shift?

and it's always amazing to share a drink with a colleague ;)

well.. it's official... i'm in love with Starbucks ;)
