la soiree parisienne

The most wanted evening! 4 friends are going out in Paris... it took some time to plan everything!;)
First we met in our hotel. Wanted to get champagne before leaving, but i was so afraid that we would miss reservation in the restaurant. Passing Jardin de Tuilleries and Musee d'Orsay we were at RER station - just few stops to take

My friends

So here we were! With Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty view

"So Parisian "

I found the restaurant via Internet and before departure I read some...hm.. not good reviews about service there. I've got pretty freaked out and proposed to my friends to "speak only French". Well, after 10 mins I was back to English lol
But frankly speaking the place was AMAZING!

The service was INCREDIBLE! (ok, in the end we had to wait for the bill, but because the restaurant was full!)
When I saw the menu i could understand only some names, so when it was time to choose i just randomly pointed a.. steak (not a bad choice). Talking about vine , all of my friends agreed to take rose (it was great!)

Fish

Chicken

Steak (AMAZING!)

We ordered some desserts...

*something* framboise (not bad ;))

Chocolat fondat (my favourite dessert, but here it wasn't that WOW, but good! ;))
And a little about drinks

I haven't noticed how fast it became dark outside - time to leave! But i really enjoyed this place la plage parisienne
Sort of pic of all of us :)
-----
Place: 4.8. out of 5
Food: 4.5 out of 5
Drinks: 4.8 out of 5
Atmospehere: 5 out of 5 !

The next direction : Eiffel Tower ('cause that's what every Parisian do after the restau :))
Passing Statue of Liberty we saw Tower shining...
Frankly speaking, it could be named as the most romantic moment... Paris.. night... warm wind.. looking at statue...
But we were walking, chatting and my awkward attempts to remember some French texts (why that time i couldn't remember any of them..)
Getting closer to Tower we've noticed that amount of people multiplied and sometimes it was hard to walk without getting lost :)
But finally we saw it...

*hm.. nice..where are we gong next?:)
I'm not a big fan of those crowds in Paris... I know it's the most popular city in the world .. that's the reason why i prefer to avoid some touristic places...
and our next stop was .. The Frog! I remeber this place from my trip in February. Great place and cool cocktails! This time the DJ was really weird.. He was playing Get Lucky and some "old famous French song"... we had one cocktail and decided that it's time to leave...

That's when it started to rain in Paris ...

when you're trying to find something colourful in Paris...

The best place to go shopping is...? Yeah, Paris, bien sur. Even though we were passing the same stores as in Moscow (like Mango, Zara), but still there were some items which i hadn't seen in Moscow.

Windows of Galeries Lafayette were amazing! But it was the only place where i saw some colourful items. According to all other stores we will wear only black, grey and white whole autumn... don't like this idea

So basically it was unsuccesful shopping. I only bought a big bag (for 25 euro hurray!) and my friend bought a pair of jeans. I hope next time i will find something. 'Cause usually in Paris i buy some items which i wear for a looong period of time.
Passing Maxim's we found ouselves near La place de la Concorde which was really close to our place. So we decided to get some lunch before a proper dinner.

my first hours in Paris or something about our hotel

After this long day in Prague i was sitting in the airport and waiting for my flight to Paris. I've been to Paris ...hm... more than once. But this time it felt so different. As if it's going to be my first time. a bit nerveous
When I landed in Paris, I could see the beautiful sunset. who knew that next days it would be cloudy and rainy
I didn't have to wait for my luggage and I went straight to RER station. It was a bit funny that everyone in the train was asking me the direction (as if i had a clue. ok, sometimes i knew the answer).
Chatelet - a station where i had to do a change for the "ligne 1". Damn the station was so durty... I'd been here dozens times and only that day i saw so much durt. But i was heading towards my hotel which was...
here...
Less than 10 mins from Le Louvre. Kinda posh ... :)

Near the metro station i met my friend. I was tired, but happy to see her.
After a long journey I wasn't able to speak any language. But it was time for checking in.
The lobby seemed small, but cozy.
As every guest, i'm saying "hurray!" for free wi-fi in the lobby :)
We were welcomed by Zahra, a nice girl who helped sooo much during our stay. The same evening we arranged amenities to our second room ( yeah, the second room, which was for my friend as a birtday surprise). The same evening a concierge proposed a variety of different amenities. I decided that fruit plate is a better idea that "macarons from La duree".:)
Zahra said that i was the first one to ask for it :)
She wished us a good stay and we went towards an elevator.
I decided to take a pic of it when my friend when she was inside of it. I think it's kinda funny idea to do this sort of drawing in the elevator .
Our room was on the 1 floor. It was a tiny room (in comprarison with hotels in Moscow). But it was clean, light and ...the most important.. with the most comfortable bed on the earth. We had some troubles with Tv, 'cause it was always proposing to watch some adult films . But at least it was working without any problems, cause in another room there were some problems with it, but we just switched it off

Our room

Bathroom amenities

We had a view on bar which wasn't really loud, so it was ok in the evening.
But from another room, which was on the 4th floor... we had amazing balcony. If only it hadn't been raining the next morning...
I think it's a great place for "prendre le petit dejeuner"
The view from the balcony
Oh.. almost forgot.
Fruit plate
Thanks to Etienne from Front Desk who helped with the second room, thanks to whom plate arrived on time (i suppose also thanks to concierge and butler) and thanks to whom i saw a butler! finally
I suppose there are no words to describe how much i was satisfy with the service! IT WAS AMAZING! INCREDIBLE!!
if only i could stay there for a longer period :)
Also Zahra made me Marriott card (finally somebody did it :)) . We decided to take 4 glasses of champagne (2 per each room) for free. We tried it when it was time to say goodbye... :(

Frankly speaking, it was really hard to leave this place. So many good memories, good people around me... I even was about to start crying when i was leaving. A man from Front Desk (i suppose he is a supervisor, i haven't noticed his name tag) was always nice with me and when he saw my sitting so sad he passed near me asking if i was fine . so nice

So that weekend passed so quickly, but don't worry i will write more about it ;)

p.s. in the evening you might receive some candies from housekeeping and in the morning you will receive a newspaper which was published in this hotel.

It was an amzing time!

P.p.s. and don't forget to leave some tips ;)
